Installation

Three steps

  1. Install step 14/3

    Download the launcher

    One small installer. It does not need administrator rights and installs to your user profile.

  2. Install step 24/3

    Sign in

    Use the account you created on this site. The launcher signs you in once and hands the session to the game.

  3. Install step 34/3

    03

    Install and play

    The launcher downloads the client, verifies every file against the published checksum and starts the game.

What the launcher does

  • Verifies your files. Every downloaded archive is checked against the SHA-256 above before it is unpacked.
  • Repairs a broken install. Missing or altered files are re-fetched without reinstalling the whole client.
  • Patches between versions. You download the difference, not the whole game, when a new build ships.
  • Updates itself. The launcher keeps its own version current, so you install it once.
  • Hands off your session. Sign in once in the launcher and the game starts already signed in.
